Ayushmann Khurrana's knack for picking up impressive scripts has earned him praise. But to promote his next film, the actor seems to make fun of that very image. The promotional video for the actor's Dream Girl captures this bit of quirkiness.

The film will see Khurrana team up with Nushrat Bharucha for the first time. It will be directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, with Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Motion Pictures producing the project.

The project was announced earlier this week with Bharucha, Khurrana and Ekta Kapoor getting together for a lunch and official announcement.

The team came up with a promotional video that features Khurrana sitting down with his scripting team to come up with ideas. Some of them reference his recent hits like Andhadhun (2018) and Badhaai Ho (2018) as well as Vicky Donor (2012). The idea he chooses, though, comes from the peon, who passes him the script of Dream Girl.

The title card of the film hints at the quirkiness that might mark the story. It introduces the actor as 'Ayushmann Khurrana in and as Dream Girl'.

With the image of the accompanying phone, it probably refers to Khurrana's character changing his voice and identity on the phone. Perhaps, the actor 'is' the Dream Girl that the film's story revolves around.

The cast will start shooting for the film in December 2018.
