Kedarnath's (2018) setting of love in the times of intolerance and flood makes for an interesting story. While the first song 'Namo Namo' captured the fervent devotion and duty of Sushant Singh Rajput's Mansoor, the second song captures his exuberance in love. 'Sweetheart', composed by Amit Trivedi, is a peppy composition that makes you tap your feet.

The song is, appropriately, set at the wedding of Mansoor's sister. Sara Ali Khan's Mukku arrives to join the bride's coterie, and the celebrations soon hit the floor.

Rajput looks in his element as he moves to the rhythm of Trivedi's music. While Khan was effective and impressive in the trailer, she seems to be a little raw in terms of dancing on screen. That is even more evident since her character, surprisingly, has no verses in a song that is a love confession.

The two leads seem to lack a little chemistry, although they look graceful enough on screen.

The music by Trivedi is quite commercial and captures the wedding theme well. The song depends majorly on the rhythm of the dhol and is hummable. However, it seems to lack that difference that Trivedi usually brings to his music.

Dev Negi brings energy and enthusiasm to the vocals and is on point. Amitabh Bhattacharya's lyrics stand out with their blend of Urdu and Hindi.

Kedarnath is directed by Abhishek Kapoor, and is scheduled to be released in theatres on 7 December.
