Paraplegic Anushka, gorgeous Katrina mark two forms of beauty in Zero posters

Building up to the grand reveal of the upcoming trailer launch of Aanand L Rai's Zero, Shah Rukh Khan unveiled the first looks of his two leading ladies in the film – Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. The film is expected to be released on 21 December, and will feature Khan as a dwarf for the first time in his career. 

Khan's look in the film was unveiled on 1 January 2018, but this is the first time Kaif and Sharma make an appearance on the posters with Khan. 

The two posters are stark opposites in terms of stylising. The first poster has a gorgeous looking Kaif in a fetching red gown leaning down to hug the little Bauaa, played by Khan. The poster seems to be set in the middle of the street in Meerut, with the two, seemingly in love while the rest of the world keeps moving on. 

The poster comes with the tagline 'Sitaaron Ke khwaab dekhne walon, humne to chaand ko kareeb se dekha hai'. The line implies that the actress plays a movie star who falls for the innocence and enthusiasm of Bauaa. 

In an earlier first look poster, Kaif was pictured mobbed by a crowd of people and papparazzi. While the people were seeking her attention, she looked surly and unimpressed in the poster. 

Anushka Sharma finally makes an appearance strapped in a wheelchair while Bauaa hitches a ride on her chair. The actress seems to be playing a paraplegic, with the same enthusiasm for life as Shah Rukh Khan's dwarf. The two seem to be enjoying the experience of speeding down the lane around what looks like Connaught Place in Delhi on their swanky ride. 

Directed by Aanand L Rai, the film is set in New Delhi and will be released on 21 December 2018.  

The trailer of the film will be released in IMAX, Wadala, on Khan's birthday, 2 November 2018.
