The American television pilot that he filmed earlier this year has been picked by the NBC network for a series order for the 2018-2019 television season. The medical drama, titled New Amsterdam, features Dr Max Goodwin (Ryan Eggold) as a new medical director at one of America's understaffed, underfunded and underappreciated hospitals. He decides to upend the system to provide his patients with the best care possible.
