Bioscopewala poster: Danny Denzongpa looks decades younger in new poster

A day after Rabindranath Tagore’s 137th birth anniversary, the makers of Bioscopewala released a new poster of the film with lead actor Danny Denzongpa looking decades younger.
The film is an adaptation of Tagore’s classic short story, Kabuliwala. Another adaptation of the same short story was the film Kabuliwala (1961) helmed by director Hemen Gupta and featured Balraj Sahni and Usha Kiran in the lead roles.
In the Bioscopewala poster, Denzongpa looks decades younger than his actual age of 70. The make-up artistes and Denzongpa's fitness deserve full credit for the actor's look. The veteran actor has made limited appearances in films in the past few years.
Bioscopewala is directed by Deb Medhekar and also features Geetanjali Thapa. She plays the grown-up little girl who sets out in search of the 'bioscope' man who dissappeared suddenly one day.
The film is produced by Handmade Productions and presented by Fox Star Studios in association with Star Entertainment. Bioscopewala will be released on 25 May.
