Kedarnath to be released on 30 November, announces Abhishek Kapoor

Director Abhishek Kapoor has revealed that Kedarnath will be released on 30 November this year. The film is produced by Ronnie Screwvala and features Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan in the lead roles.  

“We clean up pretty nice. 30th nov it is,” tweeted Kapoor.

As Kedarnath will be released in November, it will be Khan's debut film. The film's release was earlier said to be pushed to 2019. Her second film, Simmba, starring Ranveer Singh, will be released during the Christmas week this year.

Kedarnath had courted controversy after Kapoor and former producer Prernaa Arora had a falling-out. KriArj Entertainment pulled out of the film after getting their investment money (Rs53 crore) back. The project is now being produced by Screwvala’s RSVP Productions.
