Actor Amitabh Bachchan's turn as the exuberant 102-year-old man in Umesh Shukla's 102 Not Out is receiving praise and son Abhishek Bachchan is among the many fans left impressed. While it is usually the senior veteran who does a flawless job of promoting his movies online, son Abhishek decided to do one for his dad, symbolising the eternal father-son bond between the two.

The actor shared a picture of himself as a young man walking by the side of a greying, bearded Amitabh Bachchan in the 1990s. Abhishek wrote '#flashbackfriday Sometime in the mid 90's... Still walking side-by-side. @amitabhbachchan #102notout now playing in a theatre near you. Do watch. #Yo #Badumbaa'

Amitabh plays a 102-year-old man who tries to inspire his grouchy 72-year-old son to enjoy life in Umesh Shukla's film, 102 Not Out. Rishi Kapoor, Bachchan's old co-star, plays his son in the film.

The picture shared by Abhishek seems to be from the 1990s, from a period that is often remembered as one of struggle for the family. Abhishek is set to return to the big screen after an absence of two years with Anurag Kashyap's Manmarziyaan.

Incidentally, father Amitabh had shared Abhishek's look from the film as a turbaned modern Sikh through his social media platforms. It looks like the cross-linking within the family works to great effect.
