Going by the video, it looks like Kher has not only wished the actress 'much in advance', but has also given her a gift.

Now that it is officially announced, wishes have been pouring in for actress Sonam Kapoor for her impending marriage to businessman Anand Ahuja on 8 May in Mumbai.
Seasoned actor Anupam Kher, a close friend of Sonam's father and actor Anil Kapoor, posted a video on Instagram congratulating the actress. A bag with the 'bride-to-be' tag is also visible in the video. Perhaps, it contains Kher's gift for Sonam.
“Bride to be. My dearest darling @sonamkapoor. Choti si bachchi dekhte dekhte badi ho gayi [the little girl has grown up now],” Kher wrote in the post.
While Kher and Anil have worked on numerous films together, including Tezaab (1988), Parinda (1989), Ram Lakhan (1989), Khel (1992), Beta (1992) and Laadla (1994), Kher has featured with Sonam in films like Mausam (2011) and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (2015).
