It is always a comfort for fans to realise that the stars they adore once had awkward childhoods like themselves. Arjun Kapoor provided an adorable reminder of the fact with his Instagram post on Thursday (3 May). The actor shared a picture of himself, Ranbir Kapoor, and Siddhant Kapoor from Siddhant's 7th birthday party.
Not satisfied with just sharing a picture, he even took a dig at Ranbir's 'waist high' jeans and sense of fashion as a kid.
The banter started when Siddhant, actor and son of veteran actor Shakti Kapoor, shared a picture taken on his 7th birthday party on Instagram. "Found these gems - my 7th birthday party ð #majorthrowback #arjun #sonakshi #ranbir #nostalgia#throwbackthursday," he wrote.
His album also included childhood pictures of other star-kids like Sonakshi Sinha, Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor enjoying like normal kids at a party.
Arjun then took a dig at Ranbir's high waist jeans, writing, "Was quite aware of the the 2018 sneaker trend even in the early 90s !!! #icanseethefuture #timetraveler @siddhanthkapoor & @shraddhakapoor garden birthday parties were as well attended as award shows as u can see... #ranbirs jeans were a tad bit to high waisted if u ask me though..."
Not to be left out, Sonakshi joined in sharing another image from the same party, featuring herself and Shraddha as the adorable two. The actress even sneaked in a chuckle at the badly dressed 'frog' mascot at the party, who seems to be holding up the middle finger.
"This #throwbackthursday lets throw way back, to some birthday party, thats @shraddhakapoor and me (obviously trying to chew on something) with a suited up frog that is making a very questionable gesture at a kids birthday bash. Bad froggy! Thanks for this gem," the Ittefaq (2017) actress wrote.
They might have grown up into stars today, but it seems that traveling down nostalgia lane is just as enjoyable for the trio as it is for their fans.
