Maska teaser: Prarthana Behere turns seductress in this adult comedy

While the makers have refrained from revealing too much of the plot in the teaser, it seems Behere plays a woman who seduces and abandons men.

Actor Priyadarshan Jadhav's directorial debut Maska seems to be the second adult comedy to come out of Marathi cinema in 2018, after Viju Mane’s Shikari (2018).

Shikari review: Don't fall prey to this pointless 'adult' entertainer

The film, also written by Jadhav, features Prarthana Behere, Aniket Vishwasrao and Chinmay Mandlekar in lead roles.

While the makers have refrained from revealing too much of the plot in the teaser, it seems Behere plays a woman who seduces and abandons men. Vishwasrao and Mandlekar play two of such victims.

At first, the teaser suggests that the film will be a simple honeytrap comedy, but the very last shot reveals that one can expect adult humour too.

Behere, known for playing simple and innocent girl-next-door characters so far, will be seen in an entirely new avatar. Shashank Shende, who has impressed with his villainous roles, will be seen in a comic role.

Jadhav has tried his hand at writing before with Ravi Jadhav's Timepass 2 (2015). As for acting, he will next be seen in Ramesh Kunte’s Cycle, that hits the screens on 4 May.

Maska will be released on 1 June.
