Shraddha Kapoor, Sushant Singh Rajput to pair in Nitesh Tiwari's next?

Nitesh Tiwari directed two films, Chillar Party (2011) and Bhoolnath Returns (2014), before he became a household name with Dangal (2016).

After the worldwide success of the National Award-winning film, he co-wrote the story and dialogues for his wife and filmmaker Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari's hit film Bareilly Ki Barfi (2017).

Naturally, there is much curiosity as to which film the talented adman and director is going to take up next. On 24 May, Tiwari and Sajid Nadiadwala's Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, along with Fox Star Studios, announced their next collaboration which is due to be released on 30 August 2019.

In their announcement, the makers stated that the upocoming project is a "riveting story on today's generation". The cast is yet to be officially confirmed, but a report in Mumbai Mirror, a tabloid, suggests that actor Sushant Singh Rajput and actress Shraddha Kapoor are expected to play the lead pair in the film.

The tabloid writes that Sushant will play an enigineering student in the social drama which is set in a college. It will explore with the lives of students who have to deal with success and failure while in college. Kapoor's role hasn't been elaborated upon.

Rajput will be seen in Kedarnath and Sonchiriya later this year. He has already shot major portions for both films and is expected to begin filming for the Hindi remake of The Fault In Our Stars (2014), directed by Mukesh Chhabra.

Kapoor, too, is handling mutliple projects. Three of her films, Stree (2018), Batti Gul Meter Chalu (2018) and Saaho (2019) are currently under production. She is also due to film the delayed biopic on Saina Nehwal, directed by Amole Gupte, later this year.
