Actress Madhuri Dixit Nene’s first Marathi film Bucket List promises to be a light-hearted family affair. But, as is visible from the trailer, the tale is emotional at heart. The song ‘Majhya Mana’ shows the serious and emotional side of the film and the protagonist through a soothing number.
Director Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar has turned lyricist with ‘Majhya Mana’. His poetry portrays the condition of Dixit Nene’s character, which goes through a flurry of emotions as she struggles to complete somebody else’s bucket list.
Composer duo Rohan-Rohan succeed in keeping it simple, avoiding unnecessary frills. Rohan Pradhan, one half of the composer duo, shows a good range as he sings the soft track. There is a restraint he exercises through most of the song, which he lets go in parts. This interplay lifts the melodious track.
Like the previous songs, ‘Majhya Mana’ is also well shot, with visuals from the film. The high production values are evident in every scene.
Dixit Nene performs well. The song also features Sumeet Raghvan, who plays her husband, Renuka Shahane, and Resham Tipnis, who has constantly been in the news because of her acts on the TV reality show Marathi Bigg Boss.
Bucket List will be released on 25 May. Watch the song below and tell us what you think of the film's box-office prospects:
