As the lyrics of the title track ‘Mon Kemoner Montage Monta Ahare’ go, the trailer of director Pratim D Gupta’s upcoming film Ahare Mon offers a montage of relationships of three sets of characters and a lonely woman.

The trailer has a fresh approach that not only captures the essence of each bond, but also delineates its gradual build-up with sneak peeks.

The film has an ensemble cast that includes Anjan Dutt, Mamata Shankar, Ritwick Chakraborty, Parno Mittra, Paoli Dam, Adil Hussain and Chitrangada Chakraborty. The trailer suggests that the film attempts to explore an array of emotions and sensibilities with characters belonging to different age groups.

In the trailer Mamata Shankar's character seems to discover some unfamiliar feelings with her acquaintance played by Anjan Dutta; Mittra and Ritwick Chakraborty's characters appear to be con artistes who gradually develop feelings for each other.

Adil Hussain's character cannot forget the passenger played by Dam while Chitrangada Chakraborty's character seems to be forbidden from the normal enjoyments of life and tries to find new meaning to her journey with an imaginary character.

The inevitable loneliness in the life of the elderly duo played by Dutta and Shankar contrasts with the budding bond between Hussain and Dam's characters which doesn’t allow them to live alone in their respective lives but compels them to make a journey together.

The trailer promises to tell the stories as the characters decide to listen to their hearts above everything else.

Ahare Mon is scheduled to be released on 22 June. Watch the trailer below and let us know what you think of the film's box-office prospects:
