A friend's wedding is no small event. But Priyanka Chopra hobnobbed with royalty as she attended the wedding of her friend, American actress Meghan Markle, with Prince Harry.
Wearing a dashing lilac suit and a hat, the Quantico star joined a guest list of Sir Elton John, David Beckham, Oprah Winfrey, and Serena Williams at the special royal wedding. But Chopra was genuinely happy for her friend, and her rise to royalty. Writing on her Instagram page later, the actress praised Markle for being an "epitome of grace, love and beauty".
"Every once in a while there is a moment when time stands still.. that happened today.. You my friend.. were the epitome of grace, love and beauty. Every choice made at this wedding by you both will go down in history, not just because it was your wedding but because this incredible wedding stood for change and hope," Chopra wrote.

The actress seems to have enjoyed her time amongst celebrities as she is seen conversing with actor George Clooney and tennis champion Serena Williams.
Chopra and Markle trace their friendship back to 2015 when they met over a TV dinner. The two actresses have since spent several holidays together, and Chopra even wrote a dedication to Markle after she was named in the Time 100 most influential list.
Post the wedding, Chopra is set to take off to Bangladesh to meet Rohingya refugees in her role as UNICEF Global Goodwill ambassador. Later in the year, the actress is expected to return to India to shoot for director Ali Abbas Zafar's Bharat, also starring Salman Khan.
