Emraan Hashmi teams up again with Jannat director Kunal Deshmukh for next

The announcement comes on the 10th anniversary of Jannat (2008). The film will be co-produced by NR Pachisia and Hashmi.

Actor Emraan Hashmi is on a roll. After Soumik Sen's Cheat India, and another film alongside Rishi Kapoor directed by Jeethu Joseph, the actor will also be seen in another film to be directed by Kunal Deshmukh. The actor will team up with his Jannat: In Search of Heaven (2008) and Jannat 2 (2012) director for the yet-untitled project. The announcement comes on the 10th anniversary of their first film together, Jannat.

While the title is unknown so far, the film's story will be written by Sridhar Raghavan. The film will be co-produced by NR Pachisia and Hashmi.

The project will also mark the fourth reunion of Hashmi with Deshmukh. The actor has previously starred in Deshmukh's Jannat (2008), Tum Mile (2009), Jannat 2 (2012), and Raja Natwarlal (2014).

While the first two films arrived at the peak of an Emraan Hashmi wave, Raja Natwarlal ended up being one of Hashmi's rare flops at the box office.

Hashmi was last seen in Baadshaho (2017) alongside Ajay Devgn, Ileana D'Cruz, and Vidyut Jammwal. The actor is currently shooting for Jeethu Joseph's remake of the Spanish film, The Body, which will also star Rishi Kapoor.
