The latest animated film in the franchise, which completes 10 years, will be set in the Middle Kingdom.

As the Chhota Bheem animated franchise celebrates a decade, a new movie will take the character forward in the next decade as the action moves to China. Titled Chhota Bheem Kung Fu Dhamaka, the film is set in the Middle Kingdom and will also become the first Indian animated series to screen there.
A new poster has been released, featuring Chhota Bheem in a martial arts pose and attire, surrounded by his friends Chutki, Raju, Jaggu, etc and some new Chinese characters.
The Chhota Bheem series has been created by Rajiv Chilaka who felt the recent popularity of Hindi cinema in China, largely due to actor Aamir Khan, was positive. He told the Mid-Day newspaper, “A team of over 200 people have worked on [the film]. The latest lighting and technology have been used. Also, stereoscopy, a technology used in most animated films today across the globe, has been employed.”
The character first debuted in 2008 on Pogo TV on the animated television series, Chhota Bheem. The feature film Chhota Bheem Kung Fu Dhamaka (2018) is produced by Green Gold Animation and is due to be released later this year.
Three feature films, Chhota Bheem And The Curse Of Damyaan (2012), Chhota Bheem And The Throne Of Bali (2013) and Chhota Bheem: Himalayan Adventure (2016), precede it.
