There is good news for fans of actor Ajith, who celebrated his birthday yesterday.

Ajith is to begin work on Viswasam, his upcoming film with director 'Siruthai' Siva aka Sivakumar Jayakumar, on Monday next.

This will be the fourth time Ajith will be working on a film with Siva.

It may be recalled that the crew of Viswasam had initially announced that Ajith would begin work on the film in February and the film would hit the screens during the festival of Deepavali.

However, as Siva was unable to complete the screenplay on time, the shooting got postponed to 23 March.

The team then failed to begin work on 23 March on account of the strike called by the Tamil Film Producers Council.

Some media houses then began reporting that the team would start work on the film on 4 May. However, a source close to the film's unit has clarified that shooting will begin on 7 May.

"Work will begin at the Ramoji Rao Film City in Hyderabad," the source said. "The film will have Nayanthara paired with Ajith. It will also feature Thambi Ramaiah, Robo Shankar and Yogi Babu in important roles, with music by Imman and cinematography by Vetri."
