Veere Di Wedding song 'Tareefan': Kareena, Sonam groove to Badshah's rap of praises

The promotional song, directed by Farah Khan, is styled like a quintessential American pop music video.

Veere Di Wedding song 'Tareefan' is a groovy Badshah number with a quintessential American-style pop video to it. The song direction by Farah Khan and Ravi Varman's cinematography speak of high production value and lend a highly-stylised look.

There is no doubt that Kareena Kapoor Khan and Sonam Kapoor look super hot and glamorous, along with Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania at their glamorous best.

The leading ladies are seen partying with a bunch of hot, shirtless boys in a role reversal of sorts. While a guy is seen throwing up, the girls are seen getting into a bar fight. It's not really the most novel idea, but Kareena and Sonam are definitely owning it.

The composition by QARAN is easy on the ears and grows on you. It would have become this year's best party numbers if the tempo had been faster.

While the idea is about a man singing praises of the girls, we wonder why the actresses were made to lip sync the song, written by QARAN, Rupin Pahwa and Badshah.

An all-female lead cast in a mainstream film should have also brought female singers to the fore. Instead of Badshah doing a solo act! Let us hope that the other songs from the film make up for this and don't disappoint us by having the usual suspects helming it.

While this is not Badshah's best outing, the song is still quite groovy.
