Actress Sunny Leone will be seen in a multi-lingual film, Veermahadevi, which will mark her debut in Tamil cinema. Veermahadevi will be released in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi.

The first look of the historical fantasy sees Sunny as a warrior princess. She features in action on a horse, donning a rich costume, shoes and an embellished scabbard. The poster seems a bit overwhelming, but it justifies the period war theme.

The film is directed by VC Vadivudaiyan and produced by Ponse Stephen. Veeramahadevi was a popular warrior who lived in the south decades ago.

Sunny is said to have trained in martial arts, sword fighting, and horse riding for the film. Veermahadevi is arguably the most significant role that Leone has been offered so far. The shooting for the film is currently on.
