Remo D’Souza has directed Salman Khan for the first time in the upcoming Race 3, the third film in the Race franchise. But the two were to do a dance-based film earlier. That film didn’t get made and they got down making to Race 3, which came as a surprise.
During the trailer launch of Race 3, Khan revealed how they were set to make the dance-based film when Race 3 came in the way. The earlier film was to also have Jacqueline Fernandez and Daisy Shah, who feature as female leads in Race 3.
“Actually Remo, me, Jackie and Daisy were supposed to be doing another film together. We were still working on the script and (then) came Race (3). I asked Remo if he wants to do Race. I said the same team gets into Race and we make it before we make that film,” said Khan during the course of the discussion with the media.
He also revealed that the same team would team up for the dance-based film if Race 3 works. “If this film goes okay then this team will do the other film together,” said Salman.
The film was supposed to be the story of a father and son, revolving around the theme of dance.
