Actor Salman Khan might not be the only star to make an appearance in the Deols' upcoming, Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se. Yamla Pagla Deewana's third film is directed by Navniat Singh, and will star Dharmendra, alongside his two sons, Bobby and Sunny Deol.
According to reports, the film will feature a special song which will see the appearance of Shatrughan Sinha, Sonakshi Sinha and Rekha. While the song is expected to be in three parts, Salman Khan will be present throughout the song as the stars shake a leg with the Deol family.
A report in Mumbai Mirror quoted a source suggesting that the song will be a medley of songs from various eras. Sonakshi is expected to feature alongside her father, Shatrughan, in a remix of the song 'O Mere Sona Re' from Teesri Manzil (1966). The song will be choreographed by Remo D'Souza. While the father-daughter duo was expected to make an appearance together in Sonakshi's Akira (2016), this might be their first time together on screen.
The report quoted the source saying, "They were earlier supposed to feature in Sonakshi’s 2016 action-drama Akira, but things didn’t work out then."
In addition, the film will also see Khan team up with one of his earliest co-stars, Rekha in a song. The actor started out as a second lead on the film, Biwi Ho To Aisi (1988), which starred Farooque Shaikh and Rekha in the lead.
Rekha is expected to team up with Dharmendra in the song, an updated version of 'Rafta Rafta' from the film, Kahaani Kismat Ki (1973).
