Naadodigal 2 team to shoot expensive song in Madurai

Actor-producer-director Sasikumar, who faced a personal tragedy recently when his relative Ashok Kumar committed suicide over the alleged harrassment meted out to him by financier Anbu Cheziyan, has been keeping himself busy with work.
The actor, who is playing the lead along with Anjali in Naadodigal 2, the sequel to the 2009 blockbuster Naadodigal which is being directed by National Award winner and close friend, Samuthirakani, is to begin the second schedule of the film today in Madurai. Sources close to the unit of Naadodigal 2 say that the second schedule will be completed in one shot.
A source said, "This film, like its prequel, which went on to become a blockbuster, has a big star cast. The film will feature Bharani, Athulya Ravi, MS Baskar, Namo Narayanan, Gnanasambadan, Thulasi, Sri Ranjani, Super Subbarayan, Ramdass and Govindamurthy apart from director Samuthirakani himself. The unit is planning to shoot a major song, which will be one of the highlights of the film. This song, the cost of which will run into several lakhs, will be shot on 11 March and will feature all the stars in the film."
The film has music by Justin Prabhakaran and cinematography by Ekambaram.
