Kangana, Rajkummar's Mental Hai Kya to be murder mystery?

Rajkummar Rao and Kangana Ranaut's crazy look from their upcoming film Mental Hai Kya has received a great response. The makers have now released two new posters, featuring Rajkummar and Ranaut. 

In one of them, Ranaut is seen lying in a body suit, with a chalked outline on the floor and a weird expression on her face. Adding to the peculiarity of her character is a lollipop in her mouth. As the line on the poster reads — 'sanity is overrated' — both, Ranaut and Rajkummar, seem to be on an insanity overdrive.

In the second poster, Rajkummar doesn’t look quite insane but what is intriguing is the tape around his face and the elements of a crime scene in the background. 

The film is described as a psychological thriller. Though it is too early to say, we wonder whether Rajkummar and Ranaut’s characters are truly crazy or are they playing detectives? For all its weirdness, Mental Hai Kya could well turn out to be a crazy murder mystery.

Produced by Ekta Kapoor, the film is directed by actor-filmmaker Prakash Kovelamudi. 

Rajkummar and Ranaut were last seen together in Queen (2014).
