Director Milap Zaveri kicked off the first day of shooting with John Abraham on the upcoming Nikkhil Advani production. The as yet untitled film will also star Manoj Bajpayee alongside Abraham.
The director put up a picture from the sets on the first day of the film, with Abraham holding the clapboard.

Zaveri revealed the title to be 'SMJ', although it is yet unknown what SMJ stands for.
The film will be produced by Advani and Emmay Entertainment. In November last year, Advani had revealed that the film will be a action thriller set around the story of a cop and a killer. Advani said, "It is a very tight script which revolves around a cop and a murderer. I can't reveal who between the two is playing what, but both are powerful characters and a dark thriller is a genre I haven't explored before."
And ACTION!! We're exhilarated to roll our 11th production directed by our very own @zmilap!! Stay Tuned for more... @TSeries @TheJohnAbraham @BajpayeeManoj #WaitForIt pic.twitter.com/FzVBZfuy7O

While Advani directed Abraham in Salaam-E-Ishq (2007), Zaveri wrote the dialogues for Shootout At Wadala (2013).

Initial reports suggested that the film was to go on the floors in January, but it has taken a delay of two months before Zaveri has got down to the shoot.
