Box office: Good second weekend for Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety with Rs18.25 crore nett 

Luv Ranjan’s Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety has emerged as a surprise hit, bagging over Rs62 crore nett at the domestic box office so far. The film had an impressive second weekend, bagging Rs18.25 crore nett, as reported by Boxofficeindia.com.

It’s only a 30% drop from its opening weekend collection of Rs25.83 crore nett.

Starring Kartik Aaryan, Nushrat Bharucha and Sunny Singh Nijjar, the romantic comedy has been widely accepted by the audience, especially the youth. Made at an estimated budget of Rs40 crore, the film had released across 1,500 screens in India.  

While Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety had a good second weekend, it was not a good opening weekend for the new releases, Pari and Veerey Ki Wedding.

Anushka Sharma’s Pari could only make Rs13.50 crore nett, while Veerey Ki Wedding was a disaster bagging just Rs2.20 crore nett in its opening weekend.
