Amitabh Bachchan excited to share screen with Chiranjeevi in Telugu film

Actor Amitabh Bachchan's Telugu film, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, has him play guru to actor Chiranjeevi. The period drama, directed by Surender Reddy, is based on the life of Rayalaseema freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy.

Bachchan, who is in Hyderabad for a week to shoot his cameo in the film, shared photos of himself on the sets on Twitter and wrote about his joy and honour of working with Chiranjeevi. The two superstars have never shared the big screen before.

Chiranjeevi plays the title role while artistes Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Kiccha Sundeep, and Jagapathy Babu will be seen in important roles. Chiranjeevi's son Ram Charan is producing the film, and AR Rahman has taken the charge of composing its score. 

Bachchan had previously made special appearances in the Telugu films like Amrutha Varsham (2006) and Manam (2014).
