Last week was decent for Rani Mukerji's Hichki and Ajay Devgn's Raid. The former held steady with Rs26 crore nett in domestic collections in its first week at the theatres. According to BoxOfficeIndia.com, the collections built an upward trend from Saturday and continued into the first week.

Meanwhile, the Ajay Devgn-starrer Raid made Rs25.75 crore nett in its second week at the box office, bringing Raj Kumar Gupta's film to a total of Rs85.61 crore nett.

Both Raid and Hichki will now have to compete with the Tiger Shroff action thriller Baaghi 2, which was released today. Both films are expected to see a drop in their collections. However, the long holiday weekend might just help them to sustain the ride.

Though Gupta's film based on the longest income-tax raid in India's history saw a drop from its first-week collections, it is still likely to make it to the Rs100 crore mark unless there is a drastic fall in collections in its third week.
