FryDay poster: Govinda seems to be mocking corporate slave Varun Sharma

Govinda is back after his last debacle, Aa Gaya Hero (2017).

After the debacle of Aa Gaya Hero (2017), Govinda is back with another comedy titled FryDay, directed by Abhishek Dogra. This time he is not alone though. He has Varun Sharma aka Choocha for company.

The first poster of the film is out and it features both the actors in whacky avatars. Sharma appears like an office employee, going by his identity card and formal attire. He has a sad face. Govinda, on the other hand, appears to be in a fun mood. He is wearing a casual T-shirt and jeans and, for some reason, has a lollipop in his mouth.

It is clear that the two actors are playing contrasting personalities. Sharma seems to be going through a bad phase in life as a corporate slave, while it looks like Govinda is a happy-go-lucky person. The tagline of the film 'Jhoot Becho' gives a feeling that Sharma's character might be forced to sell lies as part of his job. The poster indicates that Govinda might be Sharma’s guru who helps him live life in a more joyful manner.

Sharma was last seen in Fukrey 2 (2017), where he reprised the character Choocha from the first film. The actor is famous for playing that character effectively.

This is Dogra’s second directorial after Dolly Ki Doli (2015).

FryDay is all set to be released on 11 May.
