Karan Singh Grover's 3 Dev poster intriguing, controversial

Writer Ghalib Asad Bhopali will return with a comedy to be released on 11 May.

The poster of the film 3 Dev has been released, and it is both, intriguing and controversial. In Hindu mythology, Tridev refers to Lords Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh.

The poster has Ravi Dubey, Karan Singh Grover and Kunaal Roy Kapur covering the faces of three deities. While Grover’s head covers the face of Lord Vishnu, Kapur is covering the image of Lord Mahesh. The face that Dubey covers looks like a female deity. However, Babumoshai Bandookbaaz (2017) writer Ghalib Asad Bhopali confirmed to us that it is Lord Brahma. "Usually, we associate this image with an aged looking Brahma, but the deity in the picture is Brahma," he said.

The tagline 'Bhagwan Undercover' is quite intriguing too. Perhaps the three actors play gods undercover on earth. Kay Kay Menon also appears on the poster, holding the image with the three actors. His role would be clearer once the trailer is released.

The film is directed by Ankoosh Bhatt and will be released on 11 March.
