Arjun-Parineeti present another glimpse of Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar: Pictures

The shoot of director Dibaker Banerjee’s Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar is currently underway. Yash Raj Films, the producer, has shared latest pictures from the sets of the Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra-starrer.

One of the pictures show the Mubarakan actor in scuffle with a few people. With his moustache-look, Kapoor looks pretty serious and angry. The other picture features Parineeti, and it looks like she is wandering about in a small town market. The warm clothes the artistes are wearing suggests that their characters are at a hill station, presumably in the north of India.

The film will have the two play a runaway couple who take refuge at a wedding. The synopsis of the film says that it is “a story of a man and a woman who represent two completely different Indias. This story could happen to any of us in contemporary India. But it happens to Sandeep and Pinky. Two more unlikely protagonists in one film are unimaginable. They are united in one thing only. Their mistrust, suspicion, and hate for each other.”

Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar is Dibaker Banerjee's comeback film. His last was the ambitious Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! (2015), which didn’t do well at the box office. Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! film was also produced by Yash Raj Films.
