World Theatre Day: Ayushmann Khurrana gets nostalgic about days on the stage

It is impossible to recognize him in the picture. Can you?

Today being World Theatre Day, Ayushmann Khurrana went down memory lane about the days he spent on stage when he started off while being a college student. The actor shared a 2002 picture on his Instagram page where he and his college mates had emerged victorious in a theatre competition.

While sharing the group picture with nine other boys, he said, “#worldtheatreday We performed a street play called Mann Ki Bhadaas - a musical at IIT Powai in 2002. Our theatre group Aaghaaz from DAV college Chandigarh got the first prize that year. That was the first time a college from a non metro city participated in Mood Indigo and got the first prize. Cant forget that day. @rochakkohli and @charandeepkalra are also in the pic. I’m sure it will be difficult for you guys to recognise me in this.”

We completely agree with Khuranna. It is indeed impossible to recognise him. In case you succeed, do let us know in the comments below.

The Bareilly Ki Barfi (2017) actor became a known VJ (Video Jockey) later, following which he ventured into the film industry. He will next be seen in Sriram Raghavan’s Shoot The Piano Player, which also features Radhika Apte and Tabu.
