Hollywood star Sylvester Stallone was in for a hilarious faux pas last week when he mistook Bobby Deol for Salman Khan in a post on Instagram. The star was mightily trolled for the mistake.
But the Rocky (1976) actor took the criticism in the right spirit and has rectified his error. In a new post, published last night, he put up a cropped image of Khan from the latest Race 3 poster, with the caption, “OK, EVERYBODY let’s try this AGAIN , good luck to the very talented SALMAN KHAN on his upcoming new film RACE 3 ! ( if this is wrong I give up! ) LOL.”

On Thursday (22 March), Stallone wanted to shower good wishes on Khan for Race 3. However, he shared Bobby Deol's poster from the film instead, and wrote, “The very best wishes to very talented film hero SALMAN KHAN For his next film RACE 3 !@beingsalmankhan.”
There post did go viral but not for reasons Stallone would have liked. In no time social media was busy mocking the innoncent mistake. A number of Salman Khan fans were offended too and Stallone soon deleted the original post.
Also starring Anil Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Daisy Shah and Saqib Saleem, Race 3 will be released on 15 June.
