After working in Hindi cinema for over three decades, Madhuri Dixit-Nene is all set to make her debut in her mother tongue, Marathi, with Bucket List. The actress shared the teaser of the film on her twitter handle.
Dixit-Nene plays Madhura Sane, a housewife, who decides to go beyond her identity as the perfect wife, mother and daughter-in-law, and fulfill her bucket list.
The teaser of the film gives us a glimpse into Madhura's adventures as we see her go from cooking and cleaning to drinking, riding a bike, mouthing poetry, beating someone up, experimenting with hand-cuffs in bed and kissing.
While the concept of a housewife exploring life beyond the four walls of her home isn't really novel, it would be interesting to see how the actress brings her charm to the character.

It is quite obvious from the teaser that Dixit-Nene gets the opportunity to display her entire range as an actress in this one. Listening to her deliver the lines in Marathi for the first time is fun too.
It should prove to be a treat for all her fans who have been waiting to see her back on screen after a gap of four years. Her last outing was in the Hindi film, Gulaab Gang (2014).
Hopefully, the trailer will be more exciting than this 43-second teaser, and we will get to see more depth to this story of a woman’s journey of self-discovery.
The film also stars Sumeet Raghvan (as Dixit-Nene's husband) and Shubha Khote, among others.
