Happy birthday Jisshu Sengupta: Of failures and unfinished dreams
Wedding song 'Sonarkathi' sung by Somlata Acharrya Chowdhury; soft romantic numbers 'Hridoyer Rong' crooned by Lagnajita Chakraborty; 'Tui Ki Kore Dili' by Anupam Roy; and 'Kanna Amar' by Savvy Gupta from the film have already been winning hearts on the internet.
“We are extremely thankful for all the love and support we have received till now. All the songs have got amazing feedbacks, which is quite motivating and encouraging for us,” said Mallick.
“I am a little tensed and excited at this moment as it is the official music launch. At the same time, I am happy that people have been appreciating the music on social media a lot,” expressed Sengupta.
Music director Roy and singer Chakraborty also performed 'Hridoyer Rong' and 'Tui Ki Kore Dili' live during the event.
The lyrics of the songs are penned by Dipangshu Acharya and Anupam Roy, weaving the different nuances of a youthful romantic relationship. A fresh urban touch in the tune seem to be the common factor in all the songs.
“I wanted to make a feel-good, wholesome drama-rom com that people can enjoy with their families after a hard day’s work. This film is also my ode to Bangaliana (Bengali culture),” said director Bhaumik.
Ghare And Baire, produced by Surinder Films, will be released on 30 March.
