After maintaining silence for nearly five days since the 'Ek Do Teen' song remake from Baaghi 2 was launched, veteran choreographer Saroj Khan has given her ‘blessings’ through a statement issued by the publicists of Baaghi 2.
“I’m so happy and proud of Ahmed [Khan] and Ganesh [Acharya] that they are giving a tribute to us. They have all my blessings,” Saroj Khan said in the statement.
We tried to get in touch with Saroj Khan, but she did not respond to our calls and text messages.
The original song from N Chandra’s Tezaab (1988) shot Madhuri Dixit to fame. Chandra had earlier told The Quint that he found the remake to be 'crass beyond imagination' and claimed that Saroj Khan had complained to Chandra about the 'Ek Do Teen' song being ruined at the funeral of legendary actress Sridevi on 28 February.
Meanwhile, Jacqueline Fernandez’s Race 3 co-stars Salman Khan and Anil Kapoor, and Baaghi 2 leads Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani have defended Fernandez.
