The makers of 102 Not Out have taken an unusual route. Usually, the poster is released before the teaser of a film, but they have gone the other way round. The first poster of 102 Not Out is delightful, one that brings a smile to your face.

The poster image is a creative one. Actor Rishi Kapoor is seen inside an egg, while Amitabh Bachchan, who plays his 102-year-old father, is standing besides him, laughing. The film is about a father being more youthful and full of life than his son.

The symbolism in the picture makes it loud and clear. Being inside the egg represents someone stuck in an old world or a person not being alive. The tagline on the poster is, 'Baap cool, beta old school'. The film is directed by Umesh Shukla.

The teaser of the film showed that the film is light-hearted in content. The most interesting bit was the part where Bachchan decides to put his son in an old age home.

The two actors have reunited on screen after a gap of 27 years. They were last cast together way back in 1991 in Ajooba, which was directed by Shashi Kapoor and Russian filmmaker Gennady Vasilyev.

102 Not Out will be released on 4 May.
