Actor Salman Khan has often been seen promoting his favourite Hollywood actor Sylvester Stallone's work on his social media accounts. On Wednesday, Stallone decided to return the favour by promoting Khan's upcoming action thriller, Race 3, by uploading a poster on his Instagram account.
But interestingly, while his message was for Khan, he posted Bobby Deol's poster! "The very best wishes to very talented film hero SALMAN KHAN For his next film RACE 3 !@beingsalmankhan," wrote Stallone, alongside a photo of Deol.
Looks like Stallone mistook Deol for Khan. It's strange that Stallone, who complimented one of India's biggest stars by calling him a "talented hero", was unable to recognise him.
This did lead to some hilarious responses in the comments section. While one person said 'Bhai Rambo Jee ne Hindu Sher Bobby Deol ko Salman Bhai samjh liye', another one asked the poster to be removed. "Everyone report spam, to Remove this poster," the person wrote.
Some requested him to delete or edit the post. "Sir please check well he is not Salman khan delete it and repost @beingsalmankhan sir's picture," wrote a fan.
Another comment mocked Khan. "Salman khan is so talented and famous that people don't know his face," wrote a user.
While most were confused, one of readers had it all figured out as to why Stallone may have posted Deol's picture. "Abbey all you dumb mother fuckers! Salman Khan himself posted that picture on his profile with alot of more actors too! Salman Khan is the producer of the movie RACE 3! Right @beingsalmankhan?? And Sylvester just posted the last pic salman Khan posted to congratulate him! Don't try to make him feel dumb cause he is not aware of our norms and culture," he posted.
