It is not really her fault, but poor Jacqueline Fernandez has been criticized for the poor remake of Madhuri Dixit’s iconic dance number 'Ek Do Teen' from N Chandra’s superhit Tezaab (1988).
Chandra and veteran choreographer Saroj Khan are reportedly so upset with the makers of Baaghi 2, the film in which the remake features, that they are contemplating legal action.
Yesterday evening, Baaghi 2 lead artistes Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani defended Fernandez. Later, superstar Salman Khan jumped to the defence of his good friend.
Khan not only defended Fernandez but also said she had done "full justice" to the legendary moves of Saroj Khan, who had choreographed the original number.
"Loved the song. Jackie has done full justice to the legendary moves of Saroj Khan. Difficult to match Madhuri. Nice to see Varun and Jackie dance to our songs. Makes us proud and keeps the songs alive and fans listening, dancing and having a blast. Enjoy karo!" he tweeted.

The superstar praised not just Fernandez, but also Varun Dhawan, who had reprised Salman Khan's double role from Judwaa (1997) in the film's 2017 remake Judwaa 2.
David Dhawan, who directed both films, had remade two songs from Judwaa for Judwaa 2.
Salman Khan and Fernandez are good friends. The duo have worked together in Kick (2014) and reunited for Race 3 (2018). They are also being linked with ABCD 3.
It may be recalled that after her breakup with director Sajid Khan, Fernandez's big break came with Khan's Kick.
