Names of Kangana Ranaut, Jackie Shroff’s wife crop up in Rizwan Siddiqui’s CDR case

In a twist to the CDR (Call Data Record) case revolving around lawyer Rizwan Siddiqui, the Thane Crime Branch revealed yesterday that they received call records of actor Sahil Khan from the lawyer’s cellphone.

DCP Abhishek Trimukhe told news agency ANI that Khan's records were shared with Siddiqui by Ayesha Shroff, with whom the actor was rumoured to be having an affair. She is the wife of veteran actor Jackie Shroff. “Probe found that Ayesha Shroff (wife of Jackie Shroff) procured CDR of Sahil Khan and shared it with Rizwan. This was revealed in an analysis of Rizwan's mobile,” said DCP Trimukhe.

As per reports, Siddiqui was allegedly blackmailing Khan.

There is more. The much hyped Kangana Ranaut and Hrithik Roshan legal battle has also featured in the matter since Siddiqui was the actress’s lawyer in the case. “Also, investigation has revealed that Kangana Ranaut had shared Hrithik Roshan's mobile number and shared it with the accused Rizwan Siddiqui in 2016, a reason for that is not known yet. The probe is on,” added the DCP.

But Rangoli Chandel, Ranaut’s sister and manager, has slammed DCP Trimukhe for involving the actress in the matter. She said on her Twitter page, “When we respond to a notice, we give all details to lawyer. To assume that these details were used to violate law & make statements based on that assumption, & defame an artist is super lame @abtrimukhe. Full investigation should be carried out before making assumptions [sic].”

Siddiqui was arrested last week by the Thane Crime Branch after they found he had a role in the CDR scam, in which around 12 people were arrested last month.
