Raid, starring Ajay Devgn, Saurabh Shukla, Amit Sial and Ileana D’Cruz, has passed the important Monday test at the box office.
The film, directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, earned a decent Rs6.25 crore nett at the ticket window yesterday, as per figures shared by Boxofficeindia.com.
This is a drop of around 35% from the first day, when Raid collected Rs9.75 crore nett. The film's grand total so far at the Indian box office is Rs46 crore nett.

According to trade pundits, the film has been made at a cost of around Rs70 crore and the box-office collections are still a long way from that number.
So, it is imperative for Raid to hold up well for the rest of the week. This may well happen, given the good word-of-mouth publicity from the audience and the appreciation from at least a few critics.
Realism is X factor of Raid: Director Raj Kumar Gupta
If Raid does go beyond mere recovery of production cost and actually become a hit, then it will be Ajay Devgn's first solo hit since Singham Returns (2014).
Although director Nishikant Kamat’s Drishyam (2015) received appreciation from critics and audiences, the film only did above-average business at the box office.
Raid also stands a chance to earn well in the second weekend, given that Rani Mukerji’s Hichki is the only big Hindi film scheduled to be released on 23 March.
