If sources in the film industry are to be believed, actor Rajinikanth has decided on the flag for his political party. The superstar, who is on a trip to the Himalayas, has reportedly okayed the design for the flag.
"The flag will be officially disclosed on 14 April, the Tamil New Year's Day. Work is on to pick a name for the party as well," said a source.
The source hinted that a list of 10 possible names for the party has been drawn up. Rajinikanth will pick one name that is attractive to the masses and that can herald a change in politics.
Both the flag and the name of the party are to be announced at a massive rally to be organized on the occasion of Tamil new year.
The source also suggested that Rajinikanth will intensify his political activities once he returns from his 15-day break to visit the Himalayas.
The actor has been keeping his cards close to his chest ever since he announced his entry into politics on 31 December last year.
Already, work on appointing office-bearers for his Rajini Makkal Mandram is on in full swing. The source said the star is likely to put to good use the time at his disposal as the film industry is on indefinite strike.
