Actress Shriya Saran married her Russian boyfriend Andrei Koscheev in a private ceremony in Mumbai on 12 March, as reported by the tabloid Mid-Day. The ceremony was held at her residence in Lokhandwala, Mumbai.
Only her close friends were invited for the nuptials. The report mentions that actor Manoj Bajpayee and his wife Neha (also known as Shabana Raza) were the only guests from the film industry.
“It was a private affair with only family members and close friends present. The only celebrity guests present were Manoj Bajpayee and wife Shabana, who stay in the neighbourhood,” a source told the newspaper.
Koscheev is a national level tennis player and is also the owner of a chain of restaurants in Moscow. He is also a motivational speaker and holds a celebrity status in Russia.
Shriya has been dating him for quite some time now but has never spoken about the relationship in public. In fact, the Instagram profiles of the couple don't have a single picture of them together. The actress has not mentioned her wedding anywhere either.
The actress is a known name in the south Indian film industry and has also starred in a few Hindi films. She made her debut with the Telugu film Ishtam in 2001. Her first Hindi film, Tujhe Meri Kasam (2003), was also the debut for Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza. Shriya has over 70 films to her credit.
