Actor Irrfan Khan has taken to Twitter again to reveal what he is suffering from.
Khan has been diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumour. He did not reveal, however, which part of the body has been affected.
The Hindi Medium (2017) actor made the disclosure on Twitter. His post began with a quote from American author Margaret Mitchell.
“Life is under obligation to give us what we expect,” he wrote before opening up about the rare condition.
“The unexpected makes us grow, which is what the past few days have been all about. Learning that I have been diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumour as of now has admittedly been difficult, but the love and strength of those around me and that I found within me has brought me to a place of hope,” he continued.
The actor, who will be next seen on the big screen in the forthcoming Blackmail (2018), added that he will be seeking treatment abroad.
“The journey of this is taking me out of the country, and I request everyone to continue sending their wishes. As for the rumours that were floated, neuro is not always about the brain and googling is the easiest way to do research. To those who waited for my words, I hope to be back with more stories to tell.” he added.

Khan had, a few weeks ago, revealed that he is suffering from a rare disease and would share details once he had them.
Neuroendocrine tumours are abnormal growths that begin in specialized cells called neuroendocrine cells. They are rare and can occur anywhere in the body. They can be non-cancerous (benign) or cancerous (malignant).
The team at Cinestaan.com wishes the actor a speedy recovery.
