Radhika Apte is a no-nonsense girl, and she has proven this point yet again. The lady was a guest on Neha Dhupia's Vogue BFF along with Rajkummar Rao where she spoke of an incident when she slapped a prominent South Indian film star for misbehaving with her.
“It was my first day on the set and a famous South actor started to tickle my feet. I was stunned as we’d never met before and I instinctively slapped him,” read a report in the Mumbai Mirror, a tabloid.
While the name of the star has not been disclosed in the report, the channel also released a teaser wherein Apte is seen mocking Ram Gopal Varma.
When asked to name an actor or a filmmaker she thinks should retire, Apte quipped "Ram Gopal Varma", without a moment's hesitation. She also gives a reason behind her choice: “He’s made such phenomenal films!”
Interestingly, Varma has directed Apte in Rakhta Charitra and Rakhta Charitra 2, both released in 2010.
The teaser also has Rajkummar playing the sexy seductor.
The episode will air on Saturday (17 March) at 8pm on Colors Infinitiy.
