Salman Khan announces the big race in Race 3 motion poster: Watch

Actor Salman Khan has given a glimpse of himself (rather, his voice) in the keenly awaited, Race 3. The makers have released a motion poster for the upcoming film with a voiceover of the actor.

Salman is heard saying, “On your mark. Get set. Ready. Go,” followed by the signature Race tune and the sound of screeching cars.

Going by the motion poster, it is clear that the film will continue the legacy of the Race franchise. The big difference is the team behind the film. The first two films were handled by veteran director duo, Abbas-Mustan. But the third one will be directed by Remo D’Souza.

The lead protagonist in both previous films was Saif Ali Khan. In Race 3, Salman takes his place. Race 3 also has a number of actors who weren’t part of the Race franchise before — Bobby Deol, Jacqueline Fernandez, Saqib Saleem and Daisy Shah.

Anil Kapoor is the only actor to be continued from the first two films. However, it doesn’t look like he will reprise the character of Robert D’Costa. There were reports about the actor playing Salman’s father in the film. When he was asked about it at an event last year, he didn’t deny it.

Race 3 will be released on Eid this year in June.
