Narendra Jha's co-stars, directors mourn his sudden death


Tisca Chopra, Sanjay Gupta, Rahul Dholakia remember the actor and offer their condolence to the family.

The Hindi film industry is yet to get over the loss of actresses Sridevi and the veteran Shammi and the sudden demise of versatile film and television actor Narendra Jha has added to the sorrow.  Jha passed away after suffering a heart attack in his farm house in Wada, Nashik. 

The actor had shot to fame with the titular role in television serial Raavan (2006-2008). He is also known for his performances in films like Haider (2014), Ghayal Once Again (2016), Raees (2017) and Kaabil (2017). 

Members of the Hindi film fraternity took to Twitter and offered their condolences to the late actor's family. 

Sanjay Gupta, who directed Jha in Kaabil, tweeted, “I refuse to accept it. Life cannot be so damn unpredictable. I just met a hail n hearty Narendra Jha at the park last week. And now I’m hearing he passed away this morning. Such a splendid actor and a marvellous human being. Rest in peace my friend. May God bless your soul.”

Tisca Chopra, who worked with Jha in Ghayal Once Again (2016), was totally shocked by the actor’s demise. 

“Totally shocked to hear of the passing of #NarendraJha .. my co-star in #GhayalOnceAgain .. fine person, fine actor .. RIP dear friend,” Chopra wrote.

"Gosh! Tragic. Shocking. Musa bhai no more ?? #RIPNarendraJha," tweeted Dholakia.
