The Hindi film fraternity and fans woke up today (14 March) to the shocking news of the death of acclaimed actor Narendra Jha. The actor passed away at his farmhouse in Wada in the early hours due to a massive heart attack. He was 55. Reportedly, this was the third heart attack he suffered.
The actor’s publicist confirmed the news to Cinestaan.com. She informed that Jha had gone for a walk last evening. The heart attack, that occurred early morning, came all of a sudden.
Jhan started his career as a model and went on to work in television serials in the 1990s. He got his first break in films with Fun2shh... Dudes In The 10th Century (2003). Jha was then signed by Shyam Benegal in Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose: The Forgotten Hero (2004), where he played Habibur Rahman.
The actor became a known face with his powerful performance in Vishal Bhardwaj’s Haider (2014). This was followed by a series of applause worthy performances in Ghayal Once Again (2016), Mohenjo Daro (2016), Force 2 (2016), Raees (2017), Kaabil (2017), and others. His last appearance was in Viraam (2017).

Jha is also known for playing the titular role in the TV serial Raavan (2006) and also starred in Ekta Kapoor’s popular television series Kyun Ki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.
He married former CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification) chief Pankaja Thakur in 2015.
