The makers of Asehi Ekda Vhave released the ‘Bhetate Ti Ashi’ song a month ago. The track, featuring lead actor Umesh Kamat, is a soothing romantic number that stays with you for long.

The trailer of the film, released today (13 March), however doesn’t garner a similar response.

The film tells the story of Kiran (Tejashree Pradhan) who works as an RJ (radio jockey), and Siddharth (Umesh Kamat), a poet-cum-executive. Kiran’s parents are eager to get her married. However, she will not marry unless she falls in love.

A young man (Chirag Patil) asks Kiran to live with him and she is mulling over the offer. In the meantime, Siddharth, one of her listeners, calls her during a show and recites one of his poems. Both are impressed with eachother and develop a friendship.

Maharashtra Day: 5 songs that celebrate the state

Going by the trailer, Asehi Ekda Vhave is just another urban love story. Looks like the film is trying to make a comment on the ideas of love and marriage, while also throwing in 'modern' ideas of a live-in relationship. However, since there is nothing particularly new or refreshing, one might not have too many expectations from the film.

This film is directed by Sushrut Bhagwat who made his directorial debut with A Paying Ghost (2015), which also featured Umesh Kamat.

Asehi Ekda Vhave will be released on 6 April this year.
