Hrithik slams Sonia Mann's publicist for using his name to promote her

Hrithik Roshan has slammed the publicist of Punjabi actress Sonia Mann for allegedly using his name to promote her. A press release sent by the publicist states that the actress might be making her debut opposite the Kaabil (2017) actor in his upcoming film, Super 30.

“Punjabi actress Sonia Mann, who is rumoured to be starring opposite Hrithik Roshan in Super 30, was recently spotted at the cleanliness drive in Amritsar,” read the statement. However, it is well-known that television actress Mrunal Thakur has been signed opposite Hrithik in the film.

The PR exercise didn’t go down well with the actor. He slammed the publicist on his Twitter handle, writing, “The frivolous use of my name by PR companies 2 promote their new clients doesn't bother me a bit. But I really want them to know it doesn't work. So may I offer a tip: trust ur clients talent, stop d tricks. All this while the female lead of super30 was finalized 8 months ago [sic].”

This is not the first time that Hrithik has called an aspiring actress's bluff. Last April, Angela Krislinski, a south Indian model of Spanish-Polish descent told a newspaper that she found a friend and mentor in Hrithik and was supposed to do a music video with him. When, in fact, she had wokrd in a couple of advertisements with him.

As soon as Hrithik read her interview, he took a picture of the article and posted it on his Twitter handle saying, “My dear lady, who are you and why are u lying.”
