You wouldn't really call it great going, but Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015) is certainly making a mark in China.
The film has so far collected $27.6 million (approximately Rs179.37 crore) at the Chinese box office, as reported by the entertainment website entgroup.cn.
Bajrangi Bhaijaan was released in China on 2 March. While the film isn't quite doing business in the league of the Aamir Khan-starrers Secret Superstar (2017) and Dangal (2016), it is holding on to fifth place among the foreign films currently playing in Chinese theatres.
Hollywood film Black Panther leads the list, having raced to a collection of $70 million (approximately Rs454 crore nett) in just three days.
Bajrangi Bhaijaan was released in India towards the end of 2015 and made Rs315 crore nett in India theatrical business.
